File Manager: Right-click menus

Right-click an item (or press and hold on a touchscreen) to get a menu of the actions that apply to it. Right-clicking empty space, or a multiple selection, gives the relevant menu for that too.

On a file

• Open — see Previewing and editing.
• Download — see Downloading files.
• Share / Share with Password — see Sharing files and folders.
• Rename — see Renaming.
• Copy, Cut — see Copy, cut and paste.
• Delete — see Deleting.

On a folder

• Open — see Navigating folders.
• Download as ZIP — see Downloading files.
• Share as ZIP / Share as ZIP with Password — see Sharing files and folders.
• Rename — see Renaming.
• Copy, Cut — see Copy, cut and paste.
• Delete — see Deleting.

On several selected items

The same actions, applied to all of them.

On empty space

• New Folder, New File — see Creating folders and files.
• Paste — see Copy, cut and paste.

In the Shares folder

The share-management actions: Copy Link, Change Expiry, the password actions, Stop Sharing / Restart Sharing, and Delete. See Managing shares.

Items appear greyed out when they're not available to you. Every right-click action is also available on the toolbar.
