File Manager: Display and sorting

You can adjust how the file list looks and the order in which files appear. Your preferences are remembered for next time.

View density

Use the view button in the top bar to switch between two densities:

• Comfortable – more spacing between rows, easier to read.
• Compact – tighter rows, so more files fit on screen at once.

Whichever you choose is remembered the next time you open the File Manager.

Sorting the file list

Click a column header to sort the list by that column:

• Name
• Size
• Date Modified

Click the same header again to reverse the order. A small arrow on the header shows which column is being used and whether the order is ascending or descending.

Showing and hiding the navigation pane

Use the toggle button on the toolbar to show or hide the navigation pane, giving the file list more room when you need it.
