Introduction
Thank you for joining the beta release of CompleteFTP for Linux! We're excited to bring the flexibility and power of CompleteFTP to Linux systems for the first time. This README provides a quick overview of the installation process and initial setup to get you started.
Installation
You should already have received a link to the latest CompleteFTP for Linux package. To install it on your Linux system, follow the instructions provided in the relevant installation guide for your distribution:
- Debian-Based Distributions: Instructions for Ubuntu and similar systems.
- Red Hat-Based Distributions: Instructions for AlmaLinux, Red Hat, and similar systems.
If you’re using WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux), refer to the Enabling Linux Services on WSL guide to configure your environment before proceeding with the installation.
Quick Tour
Once installed, refer to the Quick Tour for a walkthrough on adding users, testing connections, and managing your server using FTP, SFTP, and web interfaces.
