FTPS use account

I try to setup a new account and enable it.. But I can't login to the FTPS server.... 530 Login incorrect.... What went wrong? Any idea?

The manipulation with the Registry solved the problem on my system (Windows XP).

I have the same problem. but the solution in the other message, doesn't really say what Reg Key to add. can you please be a bit more specific?

I believe the workaround people have been using is to add the following to the appropriate user's registry settings:

In key: SOFTWARE\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin\mounts v2\/edtFTPD
Add DWORD Value: flags=8
Add string value: native=C:\edtFTPD\

Don't forget the slash in "/edtFTPD".

We'd really like to find a good solution to this problem, so would anyone who has this problem and is willing to spend a bit of time working with us on it please contact support by e-mail (support@enterp...).
