Can users update their own email address?

Hi,

We're currently evaluating CompleteFTP and looking into the possibility of allowing users to update their own email address through a custom HTMLJSS form.

We tried using system.sudo() in the script, but received this error:

Only members of the admin group may execute the sudo function.

Is there a supported way for a regular user to update their own email — without requiring admin rights?

Currently, a non-admin user can't do this. It's a good idea though.
