I want to convert a Word doc into PDF.

So, I added a new PS driver and when I print the .doc to file, no PS file is created.

I've removed the driver and reinstalled and even got an Adobe PS driver but all is same. I've re-booted and checked properties of the driver and all is how should be.

I'm running XP SP2, Office 2003 SP1.

I'm flummoxed. Anyone care to shed some light?

No. No file is produced.

I checked the rw permissions and all is ok.

I've done a full search just in case the file is being dumped elsewhere but not the case.

When you print you should get a dialog asking you to enter the name of the file.

If all else fails use OpenOffice - it works great for producing PDFs.

Thanks. I'm suspecting the usual windows XP gremlins. I'm sure I'll work it out in the end.
I'm downloading OO and hope to have a better product.

Thanks

Thanks. I've downloaded OOffice and installed. It looks great and makes a good change to the usual.

Guess what. My PS issues are exactly the same!!!

I'm running into the same problem (not being able to find the "ps" file after I have "created" it in Word). Did anyone ever figure out another solution?

Thank you.
