edtFTPnet/PRO with .NET Framework 2.0

Question

I currently have a project that uses version 4.0.5 of edtFTPnet/PRO that is built with VB.NET 2003 and version 1.1 of the .NET Framework. I've noticed that edtFTPnet/PRO is compiled against this version of the Framework. If I upgrade my project to VB.NET 2005 and version 2.0 of the .NET Framework, are there any known issues with running edtFTPnet/PRO against this version? Will things work fine on a machine with JUST the 2.0 Framework installed (i.e. Vista)? Are there plans to re-compile the component against the 2.0 Version of the Framework, and would that just be a re-compile or would slight code changes have to be made?

Yes, even though it is compiled for 1.1, it works fine with 2.0. We test it regularly in this configuration without any problems, and no other users have reported any problems with this.

We do plan to release a 2.0 version in the first quarter of this year.
