new to forum with a question

While googling to find out how to convert a Word file to pdf, I came across your article using GhostScript and GSview. However, the link does not work. Is this system still available? Is there a better-shorter way to do this? Adobe is trying to suck me in to their fee based system. I am a novice computer user, not a techno-geek. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Stuts

I originally wrote about not being able to use the link to Ghost script. It still does not work- I get a message that the URL was not found on this server. Same thing I wrote about the first time. Are they gone?
