Hi,

The installation of edtFTPD blocks and did not response.
After pressing the cancel button, the message "Installation is not complete. Are you sure ..." occurs. When I confirm with Button "YES", the installation blocks anyway.

Hi Ramses

It looks like the installer is hanging while trying to retrieve the results of a WMI query (which is supposed to give the name of the Administrator account).

This could have something to do with WMI permissions. Is your machine on a domain or a peer-to-peer network? Does it have any unusual security restrictions? What account were you running the installation from?

HI

I am logged in as an Domain User, but this user is assigned to the local Administrators group. I do not have the Password of the user Administrator, so I have to install edtFTPD as Domain User.
I never had any problems installing software until now.

Which WMI permissions/namespace must be set for the installation of edtFTPD.

Thanks, Ramses.
