What SSH/SFTP ciphers and encryption algorithms are supported in version 5.4.2?

The online API documentation in user guide only points to latest version. I would like to know the supported SSH/SFTP ciphers and key exchange algorithms support for a specific version of edtFTPjPRO - version 5.4.2.

All we have is the jar included in our product and do not have any documentation associated with it.

We have internal BDH (security binary) scan. While scanning its highlighting vulnerability in below pkg

com.enterprisedt.net.j2ssh.openssh

Please response as soon as possible. based on that we will take a decision to purchase if fix is available in latest release jar.

Connecting to Filezilla using implicit mode FTPS works fine. But when a directory listing or file transfer is attempted, Filezilla returns the error '521 PROT P required'.

Connection reset exception with Java 7

When used with Java 7, some people are seeing an IOException saying "Connection reset" after the PASV or PORT commands are sent.

This is the Windows firewall blocking Java 7 when it sees these commands sent on a socket. Normally, the Windows firewall prompts to add a newly installed program. But in this case it doesn't seem to happen - we aren't sure why.

User, yetikov, on the Netbeans forum reports that the following command will fix the problem:

netsh advfirewall set global StatefulFTP disable

We have also had a report that ZoneAlarm can cause this problem - again, it did not prompt to stop blocking.
