How to Ignore CRL/OCSP Validation Failures While Keeping Certificate Validation Enabled in edtFTPnet PRO 12.1.1.0?

Hi,

We're using edtFTPnet PRO 12.1.1.0 and encountering the following FTPS certificate validation error:

The certificate could not be verified:

RevocationFailure

We do not want to use:

SecureFTPServerValidationType.None

because we still want the library to validate:

Certificate trust chain

Certificate issuer

Certificate expiration

Our only requirement is to ignore CRL/OCSP validation failures when the revocation status cannot be checked.

Is there a supported way to:

Disable only CRL validation?

Disable only OCSP validation?

Ignore RevocationFailure while keeping all other certificate validation checks enabled?

Achieve this through SecureFTPServerValidationType.Callback and the ValidatingServer event?

The online API documentation in user guide only points to latest version. I would like to know the supported SSH/SFTP ciphers and key exchange algorithms support for a specific version of edtFTPjPRO - version 5.4.2.

All we have is the jar included in our product and do not have any documentation associated with it.

We have a Problem when using SFTP. After 50-200 logon/logoffs we get the following error:

It seems to us that th SSH is not closed correctly. What can we do?

We used be able to do the following in an FTPClient derived class in version (2.2.1)

I'm just doing a trial of CompleteFTP and have an initial issue with accessing the HTTP client as an anonymous user.

In the user general settings I have Allow Public HTTP Access.

When I access the server using http://localhost it opens and asks for a login, when I try the username anonymous it doesn't let me in.

Ideally I don't want to show a login page for anonymous users

Can I bypass the login page?

I can login to the HTTP client with a normal user account that I set up

System.IO.IOException when calling SecureFTPConnection.Connect

I try to connect to an FTP server via SFTP using SecureFTPConnection from my development PC.

The connect attempt times out after 10 s, and a System.IO.IOException is thrown. No FTPException as I would expect.

It may seem this error does not occur on another PC.

So, here are two things:

Why does SecureFTPConnection try port 21? Should it not be 22? If I force use of port 22 by setting <connection>.ServerPort to 22, I get the same result, though.

Why does the connect fail while an sftp connect using WinSCP works just fine?

LogLevel is set to All.

Help to diagnose this is highly appreciated.
