How to hide password characters in ftpConnectionEditor

by gboniface » Sat Jun 01, 2013 1:42 am

Password characters appear in the password field of the ftpConnectionEditor as they are typed. There is an option button "..." to the right which generateras a popup wherby they can be entered hidden but how do I prevent entry in the main editor or obfuscate the characters with '*'?

I'm sorry I've been slow to respond. As a user of one of our commercial products you are eligible for e-mail support, which receives more immediate attention.

I've had a look FTPConnectionEditor and PropertyGrid which it extends. I haven't found any way to disable text-editing while still allowing the button to work. If you like you can have the source-code for FTPConnectionEditor and try to get it to work the way you want yourself.

Thank you for your reply. I have been on holiday so the delay is not a problem.
