EnterpriseDT.Net.Ftp.ControlChannelIOException

by sagar.patel » Tue Mar 26, 2013 9:30 pm

Hi,
I getting following exception when my client try to upload a file to my server.
Can anyone help me out why I am getting this exception. Is this coming because I connection is in "Active" mode?
EnterpriseDT.Net.Ftp.ControlChannelIOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Yes, try passive mode. Your firewall is probably blocking the connection.
