Problem with Document upload because of charectors like ? and ? in file name. Is there any setting do i need to allow these kind of charectors in file name
Iam using edtftpnet-1.2.2 for ftp

I didn't find CommandEncoding in FTpConnection iam using edtftpnet-1.2.2

I'm sorry, my colleague forgot to mention that it was added less than 7 years ago and that if you are using a 7 year old version then you should update your software. I'll have to have a serious talk to him about this lapse. Thank you for bringing his sloppiness to my attention.

Edit: Oops, I just realized it was me who posted the original advice. I'll have a serious talk with myself.

I downloaded edtFTPnet version 2.2.2.0 and by setting property CommandEncoding = System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding("Windows-1252") Iam able to upload
my file . We are using edtFTPnet1.2.2.0 from long time in many parts of application does this new dll (edtFTPnet 2.2.2.0) replace create problems?

edtFTPnet is very mature, so the core doesn't change much from one version to the next anymore. There are thousands of people using it so any bugs that might sneak past our extensive test-suites are quickly reported by users and fixed. I wouldn't worry about upgrading.
