New possible fix released

by EDT Support » Sun Jan 30, 2005 5:44 am

Hi

I've placed a possible fix for this problem on our server. This time I'm quite confident since I've actually finally seen the problem myself and this new version fixed it. It uses the 544 fix that moakr discovered. I've placed the test version at: .

Please let me know if it works by replying to this forum topic.

Thanks

Ok, you can now download the setup.exe for the new server. I'll create a new thread for any issues or bugs people find. This server should rapidly progress - we will soon be adding SFTP support as well.

http://www.enterprisedt.com/products/co ... /setup.exe

Notes

- you need to run the manager first to enable Windows users (and to start the service)
- you need to set the home dir when you enable a user (can be any dir really)
- when you log in, use the qualified name, e.g. MACHINE\username
- anonymous users not yet supported
- home directories not stored for disabled accounts (i.e. if you disable an account you lose the home dir that has been set)
