Temp folder?

by ReportingMD » Wed Aug 05, 2015 3:56 am

Does CompleteFTP use a temp folder for files that are in process of being sent via sftp, or does the file simply go to the proper folder based on the logged in user's configurations?

My reason for asking is that I have someone who is pushing a large file to us. I see a zero byte file with this morning's time stamp on it in their home folder. I am assuming that either the transfer is not going thru, or it is being put in a temp folder somewhere and will show up all at once when the transfer is complete. If it is spooling to a folder on drive C, I will have a problem with disk space and will need to change it to a folder on Drive D.

It doesn't go to a temp folder. A zero byte file usually means the file was created but nothing was successfully written.
